“Northfield’s Loon Liquors distillery distinguishes itself from other whiskeys”

After Simeon Rossi created a coffee liqueur three years ago he didn’t know it would develop into a business venture with a high school classmate back in Northfield.
Northfield High School classmate Mark Schiller got to sample the coffee liqueur and found it so intoxicating that he thought the two should find a way to produce and market it to consumers. Rossi had the knowledge of brewing and Schiller had the business acumen to see it through.
But instead of making a coffee liqueur they found a different avenue and developed Loon Liquors to produce their product, “Loonshine” whiskey, an organic whiskey from locally sourced ingredients.
